Regular assessments throughout the year
Throughout the year, assessments are given to follow the successful academic progress of each child and to determine those might be in difficulty. In addition to these assessments, trimestrial exams mark the end of the first and third terms.
At the end of each trimester, the parents receive a report card with their child’s grade average along with comments made by teachers about their progress.

International diploma preparation
Cambridge
The Cambridge Young Learners tests : Starters, Moovers, Flyers and KET are geared towards primary pupils of English as a second language. Preparing the children for these exams in a communicative manner is helpful for them to enter middle school with confidence.
CIPEC has been an official Cambridge Test Center since 1992.
Alliance Française
CIPEC prepares children learning French as a foreign language through the Alliance Française DELF Junior. Certified by the national Ministry of Education, these diplomas encompass reading, writing and speaking skills.
CIPEC has been an exam center for Alliance Française DELF Junior since 2018.

CIPEC offers a safe and intimate environment for children. Priority is given to a successful and well rounded preparation for middle school.
By having several teachers, changing classrooms and working in different langages, children are well prepared for the transition to Middle School.
There are several possibilities :your child can pass the entrance exams for the Middle Schools international sections (Collège Monod in Les Pennes Mirabeau or Collège Mignet in Aix-en-Provence). They can also continue at one of the private international Middle Schools in the area.
Two of the three trimesters end with a week of exams, preceded by a week of review of the term’s content in each of the main subjects. This enforces individual progress.
