A multinational place
CIPEC (Centre International pour l’Education et la Culture) was created in 1984, becoming the first bilingual, international kindergarten and primary school in Provence.
Adopting an English – French bilingual system, it welcomes children from all over the world. As well as an education, CIPEC is place where different cultures mix and share together.

Kindergarten and Primary school are fundamental in children’s social, educational and future professional lives, as well ad their personal growth. With this in mind, CIPEC teachers spend each day focusing on a common goal: to develop each pupil’s potential by giving them the tools to succeed.

A stimulating environment in the middle of nature
CIPEC is set in the heart of the Provençal countryside on the outskirts of Aix-en-Provence. The Domaine de Fontvieille welcomes the children to its rustic bastide and sprawling campus tucked away in the middle a pine and oak forest.
Spanning over 2 hectares of land, children are stimulated by building cabins in the woods, playing many sports, and participating in outdoor activities.

After 36 years spent leading the school they created, Mr and Mrs PECNARD have decided to pass on their administration to a new team.
Two CIPEC Parents families have taken over the direction of the school. Kristina VALEIX has two children at CIPEC un CE2 and CM1. Bertrand BIGAY also has two children at the school in CM1 and CM2.
The pedagogical management will be taken over by Jill Delacey-Galligani as headmistress. A bilingual american, she has successfully contributed to the growth of CIPEC and its pupils for 26 years. She has taught all subjects from Kindergarten to CM2.

CIPEC follows the French curriculum for French courses, the British curriculum for English courses, one or the other in mathematics depending on the child’s further education plans. As soon as the school does not strictly follow the French National Education program, the school is necessarily “hors contrat”.
However, the school is registered with the Rectorat of the Académie d’Aix-Marseille, which notably checks the capacity of teachers to teach. The school is also a member of the Fédération Nationale de l’Enseignement Privé.
